The goal of this BEC project is identification of the steps necessary to achieve the restoration of the Mavruda wetland.
The study consisted of two phases:
Phase A: Identification of all necessary actions in to identify and implement management of control structures on inflowing and outflowing water for achieving a positive water management for the wetland.
Phase B: Field evaluation of the water budget for the Malvruda wetland, previous measures to promote restoration of the wetland and proposal of new measures to maximize the structure and functions of the system.
